Canoo has announced that its Oklahoma relationship would be expanded to include new R&D, software development, customer support, and financing centers. At least 700 new high-paying jobs are likely to be created as a result of the investments.
In-vehicle design, engineering, and software engineering, Canoo is leading the way. The R&D and software labs, which are based in Tulsa, will support technological advancements and pioneer the production of proprietary software that enhances consumer vehicle safety and efficiency. Oklahoma will also house the customer service and financing center.
Canoo’s official announcement expands on the company’s long-standing relationship with Oklahoma. Canoo revealed the location of its U.S. production facility in Oklahoma in June 2021. This plant is expected to provide 2,000 high-paying employment.
